    Metal Recycling Plant Installation

    We deliver Metal Recycling Facility Installation as a turnkey project.

    The increase in the amount of metal waste in the world and the need for recycling without harming nature has given rise to a recycling industry specific to these wastes.

    METAL RECYCLING PROJECT;

    1- COLLECTION

    The collection process for metals differs from other scrap materials due to their high scrap value. Therefore, more is sold to scrap yards than is thrown away as garbage. The largest source of scrap ferrous metal comes from scrap vehicles. Other sources include large steel structures, railroad tracks, ships, agricultural equipment and, of course, consumer scrap.

    2- CLASSIFICATION

    Sorting involves separating metals from a mixed scrap metal stream or a mixed multi-material waste stream. Automated recycling processes use magnets and optical sensors to assist in material separation. Just as iron scrap is easily separated by magnetic separation process, ferromagnetic metals Aluminum and Copper can be separated by reverse magnetization process with Eddy Current Magnetic Separator. In addition, color discrimination is also made with optical sensors.

    3- PROCESSING

    It is processed after classification. Here, firstly, the grain size is fined with a crusher, more sensitive separation processes are applied, and it is sent to the melting process as clean as possible.

    4- MELTING – MELTING PROCESS

    Each metal is taken into a specific furnace designed to melt that metal. A significant amount of energy is used in this step. However, as mentioned above, the energy required to melt and recycle metals is much less than the energy needed to produce metals using virgin raw materials. Depending on the size of the furnace, the temperature of the furnace, and the volume of metal, melting may take only a few minutes to hours.

    5- LAST STEP

    Once the metals are cooled and solidified, they are ready for use. They are then transported to various factories where they are used as raw materials or semi-finished products in the production of brand new products. When products made from these metal rods reach the end of their useful life, the metal recycling process occurs again.
